CITY SERVE

As a church ‘not just for ourselves,’ there are also lots of ways to serve our neighborhood and city through All Souls.

At this stage in the life of our community, we are primarily interested in connecting volunteers, and in some cases providing financial support, to vital service organizations already serving the city, for the sake of renewal, mercy, and justice.

All Souls seeks to support the following organizations. Inclusion on this list does not equal our full endorsement of the philosophy and practice of each organization. However, these have garnered trust through their articulated vision, competence, and experience.

SERVING THE HOMELESS COMMUNITY

Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission

Provides emergency care and long-term recovery services to hurting and homeless people in the greater Seattle area. Dedicated to serving, rescuing and transforming those in greatest need through the grace of Jesus Christ. Working to solve the root causes of poverty and homelessness.

SERVING THE REFUGEE COMMUNITY

International Refugee Committee

The IRC provides opportunities for refugees to thrive in America. Each year, thousands of refugees are invited by the U.S. government to seek safety and freedom.  Forced to flee conflict or persecution, many have survived for years against incredible odds. They step off the plane with next to nothing but their dignity, hope and determination.  In Seattle and many other regional offices across the country, the IRC helps them rebuild their lives.

SERVING VICTIMS OF HUMAN / SEX TRAFFICKING

Seattle Against Slavery

Seattle Against Slavery (SAS) is a grassroots coalition working to make a slave-free world, one city at a time. SAS fosters collaboration in the fight against human trafficking through education, advocacy, and mobilization.
